Prior to Coles, Thomas headed up The Population for two years, and before this performed the marketing director role at ninemsn for just over eighteen months. At present, Thomas oversees the Coles' national advertising campaigns on a contract basis. The former head of The Population, the social media agency closed by Photon, will take on the newly created role on 9 August. SYDNEY: Tony Thomas, the temporary head of advertising and media for Coles Supermarkets and former head of The Population, is to become DMG Radio Group's new marketing director.
